Explore Prague Tourist Attractions Near the Hilton Prague Hotel

Your visit to Prague brings history to life as you explore the city. Examples of historical architecture combine with fantastic views and familiar activities, like visiting the Prague Zoo, to make your experience unforgettable. Among the many sites to see are popular Prague tourist attractions including the Jewish Quarter, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Petrin Tower, and Old Town Square.

Guided tours of the Jewish Quarter will take you through Europe’s best-preserved complex of Jewish historical buildings where Franz Kafka’s house is located. One of the largest castles in the world, Prague Castle houses galleries, exhibits, and one of the world’s largest toy museums. Architecture lovers should not miss the famous Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, and while you’re there, take a stroll along the picturesque Golden Lane.

Another popular Prague tourist attraction is the Charles Bridge, lined with statues and alive with street artists, linking the Old Town with Mala Strana (Lesser Town) and Prague Castle.

At Old Town Square, you’ll find many different examples of architecture from Gothic to Baroque. This historic location features the world-famous medieval Astronomical Clock with its figures of the Apostles emerging at the top of the hour. St. Nicholas’s Church constructed in the Baroque style is found in this open space, a popular gathering place for tourists and locals alike.

One of Prague’s most famous examples of modernist architecture is the Museum of Czech Cubism in the Black Madonna House. Examine the permanent exhibition focusing on the years between 1910 and 1919, the most significant period of Cubism in Czech art. Built in 1912 by famous Czech architect, Josef Gocar, the building is an important work of Czech Cubist-influenced architecture.

At the top of Petrin Hill, you’ll find Petrin Tower, a small replica of the Eiffel Tower, where you’ll find amazing views of Prague. The Art Nouveau Municipal House holds concerts and artist exhibitions. Plan to attend the opera, enjoy a marionette performance, or experience the Czech Black Light Theatre, where stories are told through mime and light. More popular Prague tourist attractions, include the Prague Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

Leave plenty of time for shopping at luxury world brand boutiques on Parizska Street, golf at the spectacular 18-hole championship Prague golf course, or cruise the Vitava River for more lovely views of the city.
